Look at NBC being all on the ball and shit! It was announced today that sophomore comedy Superstore is the first series of the 2016-2017 to get a full season order.
Superstore was picked up in February for an initial 13 episode second season, but the Peacock Network has granted it the precious back-nine order, bringing the show up to a full season. Yay! I’m super happy about this decision as Superstore is one of the best comedies going right now.
Premiering as a mid-season show Superstore quickly garnered some impressive ratings, and NBC took notice – rewarding the show with a spot after this year’s Olympic closing ceremonies. This season the show has been honored with the anchor slot on NBC’s newly returning comedy Thursday!
Congratulations to all the cast and crew, you deserve many amazing season.
