APB (Monday 9pm FOX)

MID SEASON TIME!  OH LOOK… another cop show. Greeeeat. Just what the television world needs…

Okay, that’s fine. It might actually be good right? (It’s not.) What’s it about you ask? (Get a load of this shit.)

When his friend is murdered in a botched robbery attempt, billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves decides to seek justice by knocking together a box full of million dollar gadgets to help the officers of a Chicago precinct do their jobs better. Oh yes, we have long range tasers, short range tasers, and a fancy new app called – wait for it- APB that allows members of the city to report crimes from the comforting glow of their smart phones. Wow. What a ride huh? Of course, the officers who deal with the city’s crime aren’t totally on board of these newfangled things, so Gideon has to try and win over one of them to get the whole gang on his side.

That’s enough right? You don’t need to hear anymore do you? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Now, I will say APB is an interesting concept and could have possibly made a great film. POSSIBLY. But there’s no way in hell this has any staying power as s series, and quite frankly I think I posted my best review of this show on Facebook so here ya go:
